Colorado winters are tough to categorize.  The week that I wrote this, we received a few inches of snow, and then two days later, temps were in the mid-50′s.  While this may frustrate some, it’s been ideal for testing the new arrivals from Bruce Gordon Cycles and Schwalbe Tires.

Bruce Gordon’s Rock ‘n Road tire.  Plenty of flotation and traction off-road, but smooth and quiet on pavement.

Schwalbe’s Marathon Winter HS 396 tire. Just the thing for ice and snow (and available in sizes to fit nearly any bike).
