Dill Pickle Gear‘s bag offers numerous updates on the classic, traverse-style saddlebag. Amazing attention-to-detail; numerous options and add-ons; and a deceptively capacious form factor.

interested to hear if your legs run against the bag when you are pedaling, both seated and out of the saddle
No, it’s not been an issue. The Bagman supports position the bag more upright, and there’s no interference. Same with my larger Carradice bag, too.
Anxious to hear your review. Looking for something for commutes as well as the weekend “adventures”.
Are the Bagman supports required?
The supports are not required, but depending on your setup, they may be helpful. I’ve found they’re extremely useful for keeping any saddlebag away from the backs of my legs (when pedaling). And if you don’t run fenders, the supports do a good job keeping the bag away from the tire (if you don’t have much saddle-to-tire clearance).
