I think sticks and rocks work together to ensure maximum collateral damage. It’s unfortunate that the pictured derailleur hanger was so overbuilt. Instead of breaking, it bent slightly, killing the derailleur and a couple of spokes in the process. Reply ↓
I’ve had sticks do the same thing too. Was on a steel frame that I took a big cresent wrench to straighten out the hanger. Reply ↓
